You could probably describe this blog as a metaphorical tree. With branches that extend to the horizons; flowers that bloom with great photographic light; buds that wither and fall as the words fail to grow; observations and opinions that flutter in the wind; and like all good, sturdy trees rooted in a solid, yet exciting adventure deep through the soils of Africa. How poetic, did you like that?
This blog is a little like my thoughts, verbose and sometimes scattered, or already off to the next idea like a train that has left half of its carriages at the last station as it speeds towards the next. I don’t promise to always entertain you, enlighten you or even surprise you as this is more for me and to keep family and friends up to date with our adventures in Africa. Therefore I make no excuses for the contents of this blog, which are purely my own thoughts, observations and opinions. Some are researched, while others are (dangerously) unsupported by even wiki!
So, I have redesigned this for the illiterate and/or the lazy, with a photos page (yes, use the tab-looking pictures at the top of this page, with the word home) accompanied by minimal text. For the word hungry a selection of stories is included with some graphic representations under stories, and a page about me. For the bloggers, there are four whole pages to explore!
Thank you to all those who gave feed back, I hope that this new-look blog is user-friendly and you enjoy the photos and stories,
